A rollicking, productive, smashingly successful Day 2

The crowds queuing up to enter Hall 4 of the Bombay Exhibition Center showed no signs of abating on Day 2 of the Clean India Technology Week. Visitor after high-powered visitor chose to dedicate his or her day to strolling through aisles lined by stalls and booths exhibiting the latest cleaning solutions from 16 countries. Meanwhile, industry experts delivered powerful orations and engaged in stimulating discussions to share their expertise with packed audiences. Here is a sneak peak into the day’s events…

Extraordinary Expos

The Exhibitors were thrilled with the response to their products from the constant stream of visitors who engaged with them through the day. Every category of product - brand new or ever-reliable, machine or chemical, software solution or mammoth device - was appreciated by prominent buyers, who were thrilled to find solutions to each of their problems. Their interest became enquiries, which are well on their way to becoming business deals.

The Clean India Show, Laundrex India Expo, Waste Technology Expo India and Car Care Expo are the cleaning industry events of the year; don’t miss out on the chance to sample their offerings tomorrow, the final day of CTW 2020.

Conferences: A confluence of minds

The daylong Conference on Hospital Infection Control saw the most brilliant medical professors, private practitioners, nurses, hospital administrators and other stakeholders discuss a common cause: how to make a healthcare facility a space of zero infection. Microbiologists, critical care specialists, infection control experts and allied stakeholders like hospital laundry leaders shared their expertise on how infection control can be translated from paper into actual practice, with the aid of many products exhibited across the Expos.

An open discussion was also organised about India’s sunshine sector: Car Care. Owners of car care businesses frankly shared their challenges, concerns and success stories, so that the whole industry can move forward as a whole.

In store for tomorrow

The much-awaited LaundrexNet 2020 conference will feature top manufacturers, startups and end-users of the laundry industry, while the first ever-conference on Kitchen Hygiene and Sanitation will break new ground in helping everyone achieve food safety standards in every kind of kitchen.
